Figured this fits "Engine Drivetrain"

Son and fiancee came back from research project in Panama canal zone to find where they had parked their VW bus in the back fourty was very wet and slippery.

Called AAA road service and GMC Sonoma arrives and gets stuck immediately :D

GMC driver calls for backup and Ford Powerjoke wrecker shows up, yanks the GMC that never even made it back to where the VW was stuck and they head for the hills with tails tucked.

Next morning after another call to roadside assistance, Ford Powerjoke shows up with different driver who will not even go off the asphault.

We hop in the Ram/Cummins 4x4, drive up to the back of the bus, attach the rope I carry and the Ram/Cummins idles the bus right out of the muck. The Dana 80 limited slip and ProComp all terrains work like they should. Almost zero wheel spin in the muck :D

The tow trucks were probably two wheel drive. My brother in law runs tow truck as his side business. He pretty much refuses to buy a regualr 2wd wrecker any more. He has gotten his stuck too many times in the past. The one he had more recently had to be pulled out of the mud by the vehicle he was supposed to be taking to the repair shop. :D He had to unhook it, pull it in front of his tow truck and pull it out. Now he won't buy one unless it 's a 4x4

The driver of the GMC Sonoma just didn't know how to drive it. :-laf

I won the 4/6 cylinder mud drags with stock suspension and stock sized mud tires.

I also made my old Sonoma go everywhere Hummers go and then some..... Just gotta watch how fast you go through the ponds... those waves of water over the hood tend to flood the engine.

For videos and pics of me getting stuck, airborne and flooding my engine go to: www.nehog.org

It's the yellow/white POS... .

It was a point and shoot truck. You point it in a direction... stab the gas pedal and you'll probably make it through with a lot of noise and tire spinning.

Ford Tow Truck 0 / Dodge Ram 2?

A while back I pulled into a grocery store parking lot and had a guy approach me and said I had the biggest truck to help him and asked if I would pull his truck up the slight hill in the parking lot so he could coast start it. I said sure and when I saw it was a Ford tow truck with a diesel, I thought this could be a good story. I hook up to him and start up the hill, I fill him start to drag a little so I gave it more pedal and he popped the clutch and I pulled started his truck up hill. He offered to pay me money, but I declined. The :D on my face was worth more money than he could have gave me.

Saw a lovely TDOT(Tenn. Dept. of Trans. ) Phurd 2wd 3/4 Ton (possible powerjoke) stuck on flat ground today when I was in dad's toy-yo-yo taco!! :mad:

Ram was down for GSK and I had to make a run to sears, when I saw it I pointed it out to the g/f and :-laf 'd and said "DAMN I wish I was in the Dodge!!":{ :{ :{

The neighbor's bro-in-law made fun of my little Dodge when I couldn't yank a stump outta the yard, after he really strained the bejesus outta the hydraulics on that big Ford wrecker getting it out. He stopped teasing last winter after I had to pull his little Ford out to the plowed road. :D
