OK, I didn't know that. I saw one in a magazine and thought it was a production vehicle ready for sale to the public.

The JEEP liberty diesel is an inline 5 cyl diesel, same as the sprinter van. Should be interesting.

I thought the Sprinter had a Mercedes in it. I've got my backpacking partner talked into getting one. He likes the auto and 24 mpgs. That way we will be traveling in style to the hinterlands.



Besides we've been clocking the miles on my CTDs for the past six years. Time for him to dump that puny Toybota and ante up.

I am waiting for the MB 2. 7 from the sprinter to wind up in the Dodge 1500's, it would be a perfect fit and probably get over 30 mpg to boot
