Boost Elbow worked

OK, I didn't know that. I saw one in a magazine and thought it was a production vehicle ready for sale to the public.

Now I was just wondering, if that new Jeep is outfitted with a Cummins, then why can't they put one in the RAM 1500, or even the Dakota for that matter.

Ran across the Cummins/DOE light truck/clean diesel progress report. Numbers look good, hope it works out:

Durango V6 4. 2L diesel 237HP@3600 430ft-lb 663lb

Ram 1500 V8 5. 6L diesel 300HP@4000 460ft-lb 788lb

I thought the Sprinter had a Mercedes in it. I've got my backpacking partner talked into getting one. He likes the auto and 24 mpgs. That way we will be traveling in style to the hinterlands. :)

Besides we've been clocking the miles on my CTDs for the past six years. Time for him to dump that puny Toybota and ante up. :D

Off topic... who me?? Perish the thought

I am waiting for the MB 2. 7 from the sprinter to wind up in the Dodge 1500's, it would be a perfect fit and probably get over 30 mpg to boot
