Anyone point me in the right direction? Would prefer forged aluminum. Not sure if Alcoa makes anything larger than stock.

For now you are stuck with the factory wheels. Alcoa makes 16's but you can not run them, the disk brakes on the rear would hit. Just recently some various manufacturers released some 17" wheels, but the only dually wheels they released was 16". It might be a year or two till the market grows enough to support the investment.

Dave,

I had spoken to Alcoa directly last year around October or so and they said they will have a forged wheel out in 19. 5 for Dodge. Go to their website Alcoa.com and get the 800 number and talk directly to the rep. I believe they are about a $170 bucks or so. I hope this helps you out.

Forged Wheels

:D

Dave,

Here is a website to look at, www.budnik.com/whatsnew.asp

They are introducing wheels for the dually community in a 19. 5 inch wheel size. This is GREAT news for me. I'm waiting for a responce from them as to cost, group purchases and the like. I in formed you that Alcoa was introducing their wheel however there has been a snag of some sort, so I've been told by Alcoa.

Good luck and I'll keep TDR memebers infromed.

Has anyone heard anymore info on these wheels. I am getting tired of waiting for Alcoa, I know they make one if not the best aluminum wheel in the business. However, I am about to have to replace my tires and I do not want to have to get OEM replacements.

I called the company and they said it would be 2-3 months before they were out. They are going to be 19. 5" x 6. 75 and will bolt directly up with no adaptors. They don't have a price yet it too will be in the next 2 months or so. I am looking forward to this as long as they are not to much more than $250 each.

wheels

Wolffman,

That is similar to my email from them. They said 6 to 8 weeks. I too hope they are not much more than $250. They have some nice wheels there. Maybe once they are on the market we ( TDR ) members can make a GROUP PURCHASE, this too would be GREAT!
