I'm looking at new injectors again, and it looks like nobody's selling the Formula 1 Mach series any more. Is Don no longer making injectors?

Well, I'm aware of the website but most of the dealers shown there don't make any reference to the Mach series injectors making me think they're not selling them anymore. Also, most of the discussion involving Formula 1 injectors here on the TDR seems to have pretty much evaporated around 2011 or so. It's hard to say if that's because Don's not making 24 valve injectors anymore, or if people are just selling their 2nd gen trucks.

All the 24 valve injector discussion I've seen over the past two years mainly mentions DDP. The DDP injectors look interesting, but I've been so happy with my Mach 1s that I was looking to stick with the Mach series.

I am pretty sure Don is still making injectors. One way to find out is call Source Automotive and talk to Rip http://sourceautomotive.biz/machinjectors.aspx

Source sells 3 brands of injectors for 24-valves, starting off are Edge Jammers (kinda leftover from the Diesel Dynamics days) which are inexpensive OK injectors.
The Dynomite injectors are an excellent injector, haven't tried them in a 24V but a lot of guys have been happy with them.
Then there's Don M's, Rip tells me they work great and seem to have greater dynamic range than the others he sells, when you get up in power where other injectors start smoking Don's keep delivering more power, and they are more linear, FWIW.

Right now I have Jammer stage 2s in my '98, they are fine but not the smoothest or cleanest injector ever. I have a set of Smokem's injectors (Weston Shupe) to try next, then eventually a set of Machs, around Mach 2. I'll be trying a few flavors over time.

Rip is not very accessible at Source, at least not like in the past. If I understand the situation correctly, he is very busy working with Mads/Smarty/BBI, there is however an individual named Bob(iirc) that was very helpful last time I called, give him a try. Jess

I remember them saying the Mach 1.6's were really trick for mild improvement and towing I believe! Chris

I've looked at those 1.6s before and thought they would be a nice injector to go along with an HE351vgt.
I think they would be borderline too much fuel for the HX35, but I hear of people running 100 HP sticks with no problems so who knows.
