Got a call from a dealer(were I bought my truck) and he has a 98' 12v, Auto, Q/C, Laramie, Bergundy silver two tone Tan cloth interior 60/40, running boards and camper shell painted, factory chrome wheels Reese hitch and 84K on the clock and looked to be an older guys truck, he also said it was a clean as mine was(good shape) the asking price is 17,900. 00. If I get time thursday or Fri I'll go by to see it and will reply to E-mails and PM's about it. I wouldn't put this out but I know they are hard to come by.

Jim

P. S. he said there were no 24V badges on it so it should be a 12V. Right?

Going to bring this back in

Went to look at the 98' 12V today and is clean as heck, I will try to go back Monday and drive it. He also now has a 96 or 97 12V 5 Speed duelly 2WD Q/C White on Tan that is clean with 110k on the clock. I figured someone would jump on this as they are hard to find. The 98' 2500 is as listed but is a light brown met with silver two tone.

What's he asking for this?

Your comment on the 96-97 white Dually is incorrect,,IF the truck is a 96-97 it can only be a Ext-cab,,The Quad option was introduced in 98 as a option ONLY and made standard in 99,,This is one of the reasons for the 98 Quad 12 valvers being highly sought after,,Just my . 02 worth

Larry I don't have a price was on the dually as I just saw it as they were closing the gates... . Hammer, I'm not real good with these trucks all I was going by was the tach looked different than mine, I really don't know when the Q/C came into play I just know I love mine. I'll see if I can find out more info this week.

Update

As mention above the 98' 12V is in real good shape and yea I drove it, runs and drives good, real clean inside and out and has never been touched(turned up) The Dually is a 97' all stock except for some sort of air over hyd breaking system(looks like it needs to come out) Tan Interior Laramie SLE solid white 110k 5 speed with a 3. 54 gear in both trucks (Tach verses MPH) I don't know what to expect from a one ton but it seemed to drive and run fine it has a reese bumper hitch and a gooseneck plate, elec breaks ect. There asking 14,900 for it and 17,900 for the 98'

One thing I did notice about both of them is there lack of power, I didn't realize mine ran that good:D

P. M. me if you have any questions.

Jim

Vaccum over hydraulic brakes.

If it has vaccum over brakes, chances are that truck hauled hot shot, or at least lots of big heavy trailers. My buddy runs vaccum over on his cattle hauler Dodge, they work pretty good. Truck may not be hurt, but if it has a vaccum over brake system it has worked.

Location

The trucks are located in Tuttle Oklahoma, that is SW of OKC Ok just a little(20 miles) Have him or you PM me or E-mail me at -- email address removed -- and I can answer most questions or can give you the number. When I was there Mon. he was working a trade for a 99' 2500 4x4 5 speed that was suppose to be real clean but that's all I have for info, Feel free to ask questions.

I bought my '98 at a dealer in Fort Lupton, CO (near Denver) They always have a pretty good selection of Dodges, GM and F'en Owner Really Dumbs. Their site is www.awtrucks.com and they're inventory is updated weekly. If you are shoppin' for used.
