this is text from the ad. might just jump on it but it's a 4 hr drive away from me! any opinions on this rig would be appreciated. seems to be in great shape from pix and "stealership" guys description. any thing to look for? thanks in advance.

If it's a Laramie how come it doesn't have leather seats? Check the pricing on NADA or Kelley Blue Book.

One the whole it sounds good, but it lists Daytime running lights and rear window defroster. Neither option was available on my 01, so did they put those on in 02? In other words, I might be a bit cautious while checking it out due to the fact that the person writing the ad might not know all there is to know about it. I could be wrong, too, and those options might have been available. Look closely at it.

When I was looking for my truck I went and looked at on 01 that sounded nice from the ad and talking to the guy. When I went in person it was a different story. The interior was trashed cracked leather all over the place and just plain dirty. You would think if you wanted to sell something you would clean it first. Many other things I found wrong by just looking over the truck in person. That said I drove four hours to look at an 03 that was used has a "Cat" parts/service delivery truck so had a fair bit of miles. Ended up getting what I consider to be a good deal so bought it and towed the Ranger home. If you think the price is right go check it out. You never know.
