Who is playing Merry Christmas to me this year?

And I just had to laugh! To make a long story short, I was draging an old cast Iron tub out of the woods at my house (cleaning up the garbage left by who knows) and pulled around the front yard, and found a hole I forgot about. It was a hole left by a tree spade from a tree that my dad had moved to his place a month earlier but hadnt had the hole filled in yet... Anyway, I just had to post this up again (first time on TDR though) for ya'll to get a good laugh about!

Doesn't look like it did much damage. How long after cleaning your shorts did you start laughing about it?

When I hit the hole, I hugged the steering wheel pretty good. For a sec, I was like... WTF just happened when it dawned on me, oh *****, its that damn hole I had been buggin my dad for months to fill in! Very slightly bent the bumper, and just a small scratch on the drivers side rocker. I had to crawl out duke of hazard style too!

Oh, I dont drink, so I couldnt use that excuse either! :-laf

Several years ago one of our dogs died and my wife wanted me to build a box and bury it in the back yard. I did. Then a couple years ago, I was trying to tow my '36 Hudson Terraplane to the side of our travel trailer to park it there out of the way. Everything was going just fine until my right-front tire found the grave and, like our friend here, it dropped right down onto the frame. Had to ask a neighbor (thankfully with a Ram FWD Cummins) to help pull me out. No damage, except to my pride.
