Today I changed the oil and decided to pull off the tube between the breather box and the turbo, and I found oil. Truck has stock breather, there was some oil on the sliencer ring and you can see behind the blades more oil. Any idea what going on, what to check? Looks to me like there is a seal leaking. Truck run excellent, 118K miles, all stock.

Brought the truck to the dealer and they confirmed the turbo needs replacing. I was glad I was sitting down when they told me the the price was almost $1800 just for the turbo. I called around to some diesel shops in Houston, found a brand new in the box turbo ( exact replacement) for $988 ttl. I delivered it to the dealer to install, should have my truck back today. Next stop is to have the intercooler cleaned to remove any oil that is in it, found a diesel performance shop that says they can do this for me for 1/2 the price of a new one. I will be glad when I get my truck back, people here in Houston take advantage of people driving little cars.
