That factory tach you have stuffed off to the side looks like it needs a home where it will be appreciated.

I don't want to hear any excuses either on it was temporarily hanging there as I was testing the pods...

:D

So now that you have us all excited, where can we buy a set like that? The daily needs some more gauges and this may work. I am sitting in it measuring. :D

Umm, I think I may be on to somethings here... ..... a little work on the lower section that goes to the pillar, and this has great promise. This is a 4 guage pod for a '94-02, sitting on the dash of my '93. The lower lines match almost perfect, except the rear portion where it runs down to the pillar... ... I'm thinking a small piece of thin PVC, half-piped to cover wires? Or maybe a propane torch to heat it and form it down to the dash a little better. The only daylight between 'em is there where the wires come in!!!

BSchwarzli? You're the guage pod professor..... comments?

Oh, I like that. I've never seen a pod like that for a 2nd gen:confused:

Uhhhhhh, well, good news and bad, it looks like. Good news is I know where a couple are... . bad news is that they don't make them anymore..... I used these for years when I had a shop in Wichita Falls, and I could have sworn they came from AutoMeter... . but I can't find crap on 'em. The part number looks like a Banks number, though... ... . I'm gonna do a little more digging..... I do know these were for the '94-97 trucks, as I put a ton of 'em in, and even have some 2 and 3 guage pods in my trucks from those days..... I thought they fit the '98-02 as well... ...

Also a mounting thought. Would the pod fit on the roof between the visors like my 3rd gen roof pod does? As they are reverse style they would still face the driver... .

If so I really need one. Or even a few spares. Crew already has gauge mounting location issues and the 1990 pft... . It always did have gauge mounting issues. :D

Let me know what you find out. I am interested.

I think heat will shrink the material. I believe that's what accidently happened to those 3-pods.

I have a double from banks then added a double A pillar mount
I would love to have one of those
I got the Stinger kit W/ inter-cooler in 2000
