Has anyone tried the Fox 2. 0 offroad shocks? Will they work for our trucks? I'm looking for new rear shocks to go with my new custom leafs, and they look to be a pretty good balance between the extremes. Rebuildable, revalvable, and less than $200. Thanks.

They work great and are a perfect shock because they can be valved with a lot of rebound which is especially important on the rear..... Haven't tackled the rear of a Dodge yet but just got these on the front of my buddies 1500... . Will be doing the rear soon. . :)

Well, let's tackle it! I'm ready and willing to give 'em a shot. Can you get 'em to me at a reasonable price (PM me if needed)? I can handle the light fab/machining needed to make them fit.

BTW- Those are sweet shock towers... Finally an alternative to the pricey billet. One more entry to the 'should've thought of that' file.

WOW! like those mounts. Do you have plans available for them? I am Running the KORE springs and Bilstien 5100s on my truck. I installed the FOX 2. 0 emulsion shox on my Cherokee and LOVE them. I would hesitate to run them on my 2500 just because they seem a little small to me. I am looking into putting on the 2. 5's. By the way, my local Fox dealer tells me you can step up to position sensative shock in the 2. 0's for only $185 a peice. This may be the hot ticket for good quality ride and keeping sway under control with a load.

Yep... shock mounts are all good to go. .

I'm hooked up with KING, which I actually prefer , and the price is a little better on the 2. 5's... I don't think Fox offers a position sensitive shock and even if they did there is not much advantage if the valving is right on in the first place. . The Fox 2. 0 shock is just FINE and can handle a lot of rebound valving on a heavy truck as long as you get the reservoir with it... :)
