vinyl floor install

pretty darn cheap! $113. 95 for black vinyl for quad cab? How's the fit, quality and looks in your opinion? How long did it take you to install it? Did the OEM carpet come off without too much fight?

Install is strait forward but it defiantly helps for it to be warm and to have a partner. The Vinyl floor is vacuum formed to a mold of the floor pan. I installed it over the factory carpet but I had to cut some of the carpet out of the way. The hardest part was removing seats. I would do it again.



I think I'd pull the carpet next time. It was easy to remove.

I have the Weatherboots in my '03 and the wife's '94 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I wouldn't use anything else. To keep the carpet from wearing where I rest my right heel, I took a rubber floor mat and cut a piece of it approx 8x8 inches and put velcro on it to keep it stuck to the Weatherboot.

Does anyone know if they are making these mats for an 06 with bucket seats and front console? What are you guys with the front console using?

If you work out of the truck, do me a favor and get the weatherboots, they are awesome, the husky's suck!!!, the only problem with the fox is that they have outdoor carpet on them in the middle, i peeled that off mine, so i could sweep them out easier, you can literally wash out your truck with these in there b/c they cover the door sill and keep stuff out of the jamb where all of your wires run, i have a factory vinyl mat in my '06 laramie, cost me $400. 00 dealer installed, worth every penny, but i screwed up and bought the husky P. O. S. mats for it, and now there's dirt and sand all down in the jambs, i just ordered the weatherboots for it, guess the husky's will make good doormats!!!
