Hey guys,

I pulled the 0216 code with the 1693 and have had the dead petal twice in the last 3 weeks :{ . I have had a problem with my FP gauge starting to read low and found it to be that the antifreeze was gone on the gauge side of the isolater. I pulled the hose and topped it off, screwed it back together and got my 19psi back. It seems to last about a month or so than I have to do it again. My question is where is the antifreeze going? I don't see any leeks and am wondering if upon shutdown it was being sucked back into the VP. The truck has 85k on the clock and was running great although now my mileage sucks and I have started to price VP's. Just wondering if anyone had this problem and if I should order a new isolater or run direct to the gauge. Thanks in advance!!

When you plumbed it did you use teflon tape on all the joints? And also dont overtighten the ferrel fittings. Any small leak and your anti freeze will slowly dissapear. ;)

yep got the tape on all the threads. Interesting point on the FP. I thought just 21plus was bad. I trusted my installer to give me the correct setup. . guess I might need a smaller spring  . Hasn't died yet, but have a new pump on order.
