Hello all, going to finally install my fuel-pressure gauge this weekend, and was just curious if I need to seal the threads for the various fittings with teflon tape etc. ?

Any advice is appreciated!

I would always recommend using a sealant of some sort unless it specifically says not to. Teflon tape is okay to use but might want to make sure it is the kind that is made especially for fuel connections. I bought a roll of it a few years back when I was installing a f. p. regulator on my Jeep. I think I got it from Grainger.

The regular teflon tape won't hold. I found out the hard way, and had to R&R the fittings. Someone on here recommended loctite thread sealant. So far, it has worked great.
