What is the proper fitting to use to connect directly to the schrader valve?

I opted to connect the hose for the elect FP sending unit directly to the schrader valve, but the fitting the folks at "Hose man" used wants to act like a check valve apparently and the fuel pressure goes up to 22 psi. If I take it off and then reconnect it, it will run at 12 psi for awhile and then work back up to 22-26.

The fitting looks like an AC hose fitting but not sure.

Is the valve in the scrader basically like a tire valve?

I had originally purchased the banjo fitting from Geno's but sent it back. I would like to hook up direct and get rid of the westac, but not sure where to hook up. Thinking of putting in "T" in fuel line from filter to VP.

Suggestions appreciated.

Yes, I left the core in. Never thought of that. Is it the same as a valve stem core? I have my handy dandy old tool to remove them.

I'll take it out and give it a try. I had thought I had better leave everything as is in case I needed the dealer to check pressure. Can always put it back in. Duh

Isn't TDR great?

Thanks for the input. :D
