2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission FP sensor placement??

I just installed my fuel press. gauge, and I used one of the ports on top of my fuel filter canister for the sensor unit. Is this spot ok? should it be moved? I'm planning on relocating the stock lift down to the rail w/ a valcon relocate, with in the next 2 weekends. (time-never enough) Thought I would pose the question so while I'm under it I could do what needs to be done.

I have had my westach fuel pressure sender on the fuel filter canister since 2001. Never had to replace it and has worked flawlessly. I moved my fuel pump this September using the Geno's relocation kit, and kept the sender unit right where it has been since 2001. By the way Vulcan kit makes a nice way to change the fuel pump in the future.

I have to replace my Westach sender, mounted on top of the factory fuel filter on a billet cap. The vibrations I think, killed it. I'm putting a T before the fuel filter, and will use short hose to mount the sender to the firewall. The engine creates too much vibration I think.

Thanks guys, I wasn't sure if I was getting a good reading. looks like I may be replacing the lift sooner than I thought. When I'm full into it I drop to about 6 psi, set on level 3 on my chip. when I do the relocate it will be easy. Thank agian.

I would suggest putting the T between the filter and injection pump, that way you can see the true pressue getting to the injector pump, with the T before the filter, you may see good pressure, but a clogged filter will starve the injector pump and you wouldn't know.
