Now seeing the New release of a Wix 33733,Fram PS-10279 Fuel Filter for a Cummins/Sterling 6. 7.

O Reilly says they are awaiting shipments as the parts #'s are appearing in the parts distribution systems now. Now there should be local availability of these filters at the local parts houses soon. for about $28. 00 plus tax

Baldwin filters are made in Kearney NE and the 6. 7 fuel filter is not released yet, this is what my company uses from the oil company.

Ive used or installed just about every major vendor filter on Heavy equipment over the years and i really do prefer domestic manufacturers also. IE/Cat,Wix, Baldwin,Fleetgard,AC,Fram,OEM, etc.

Fram isnt as good as it used to be,now some of the the Fram oil filter boxes say made in china,

But at least if a 6. 7 fuel filter chokes out on you can or will be able get it at a parts store on a late night or weekend night.

I keep a spare OEM filter in my toolbox.

The "Fram" pic is just a pic as it is the first one out there no other aftermarket filter pics are available yet, just a reference photo for now. When i saw the made in china on the Fram box and have heard about oil filter bypass valve malfunctions i steered away from them also.

With the high cost of fuel system componets on the common rail why save a couple bucks on the most important line of defense ?

Just bought a fuel filter for my 6. 7L 2008 Ram. Had to buy it at the dealer here in sierra vista AZ. (Donovan Dodge Stealership). They charged me $49 for it. No military discount at that place. Didn't know about Geno's selling Fleetguard filter package at the time. Now I know thanks to TDR. I have been buying NAPA gold oil filters but am going to go with Geno's filter package in the future.

$49 is way more than Dodge List price... ... ... ... ... ... ... .

The 6. 7 filter is the cheapest diesel filter Dodge sells

Bob4x4. Like I said... "stealership". There was no where else to get one and I didnt know about Geno's garage filter package. Live and learn. Sierra Vista is a military town next to Fort Huachuca AZ. Not much here. Home town is Volant, PA and will go home in July. When you are a mobilized reservist sometimes you luck out . . sometimes you dont.
