besides lengths, are there any dimensional differences ( frame member ,width ,wall thickness, height)between a 2017 3500 4X4 SRW and a 22 meba cab 4X4 dually?

You could check out the following Ram website; year.pdf (rambodybuilder.com). You click on the years that are listed in RED (I think slightly color blind).

You then click pick the year and dimensions, I think this should answer your questions correctly.

Yes, there was a frame improvement in 2019.

The differences are minor thou, as I understand the body mounts, bed mounts, suspension, etc all mount the same and are interchangeable.
