Call me cheap but has anyone put together their own frame mounted camper tie-downs patterned after the tork system. I've looked at the tork-lift, seems l could easily be into it $800 for a simple setup. I'm not comfortable with the happi-jac bumper mounts given how flimsy the new bumpers seem. This is for a 2011 Ram 2500 longbed. More time than money.

Ihave used a belly bar (easy to install using a sturdy square iron across the frame. a few years ago, I bought the Stabil-lift system that installes clamps underneath the frame. No comparison, it is an expensive outlay for the stabil lift system but worth every penny, easy on/off loading and leveling.

I have a tork setup for my 2002 short bed unknown if it would work for you. have no need for it as i now have a 5th wheel. make you a hell of a deal. -- email address removed --

I bought a used set of Tork Lift for the frt and because I have an after market rear bumper I had to use the style that goes into the factory hitch. David
