Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Frankin Trans

Frankin Trans is finally complete and installed, it's nice to have a transmission that works like it should have in the first place. What is a Frankin Trans you ask??? Check out my Sig. I would also like to thank a few local builders for there help You know who you are.

I do have one question, WOT shift RPM'S, lets say 2,3 shift. Mine is shifting at about 3100 RPM. Is that too high????? What are your numbers???

Mine shifts at about 2200-2400 wot.

What is the stall speed of your torque converter supposed to be? Also, just wondering where does it shift during normal driving?

Not sure about the stall speed. TCI said it was good too 500 HP. It is alot less than the stock convertor.

I may need to loosen the TV cable. 2400 seems too low with a GSK. I was thinking just under 3K. I will check my normal driving shift points and let you know. I know it does shift real early when driving normal, that's why i tightend the TV cable up a bit. I have heard that it's normal for it to shift early under light throttle????
