I've tried downloading this file three times, and every time I tried to open it, it said the file was "invalid or corrupted. " I tried opening it in both Acrobat Reader and Word. Has anyone else had this problem? I'm no computer guru. Anyone have any tips for me? Thanks in advance.

Have you ever heard of Copyright Infringement?

NO PART OF THIS PUBLICATION MAY BE REPRODUCED, STORED IN A RETRIEVAL SYSTEM, OR TRANSMITTED, IN ANY FORM OR BY ANY MEANS, ELECTRONIC, MECHANICAL, PHOTOCOPYING, RECORDING, OR OTHERWISE, WITHOUT THE PRIOR WRITTEN PERMISSION OF DAIMLERCHRYSLER CORPORATION.

Lets see, X number of users from a registered by name and address paid for with a fee downloading copyrighted material then posting a thank you on a monitored board thereby violating the copyright of the holder and the Digital Milennium Copyright Act not to mention placing the Board operator in legal jeopardy.

Anyone watching the news lately??

I am not giving it to anyone just letting them know where is at.

If it was mine I could give it to my friends... that includs TRD members...

lol

If someone downloads it, looks through it, then decides they don't want it and deletes the file that doesn't seem much different than going to the bookstore, picking up a book off the shelf, flipping through it, and deciding they don't want it and putting it back on the shelf...

They way I look at it is that as long as I dont try to sell it and make $$, then buy loaning you something is not a copyright problem.

Please see the following for clarification

Stanford Copyright and Fair Use Guide

note the following in particular:

"Copyright infringement occurs whenever copyrighted material is transferred to or from a website without authorization from the copyright owner. Transferring information to and from a website can be done in a few ways. A user can take information from a website by copying or downloading. Or, material can be placed (sometimes called "uploaded" or "posted") from a user's computer onto the website. Any time copyrighted information is transferred to or from a website without authorization from the owner, the owner may have a copyright infringement claim against the copier, the website or both. "

In fact, TDR could be in some jeopardy here because of the appearance of facilitating copyright infringement.
