well common sense kinda kicked in on my way to the truck playing with my new infra thermal gun with a laser. I pointed the thing at a few objects and the said negitive -1, -3, and 1 degree I thought I wasted my money on a bunch of crap at first then I though to check my body temps the thing was pretty close on the money. So realising it was negative temps (of Which I have never seen before) I decided not to play with the electrical connecters since plastic breaks easier in colder temps. So now what? anyone got any bright ideas?

sounds like you hvae some experience. What should I been doing to fix the truck after the PPE froze before download complete and froze before revert to stock started? while I was outside 5 minutes ago I tried starting, It would seem I have very near a pair of dead batteries. I'm all ears with a little bit of common sense. I really wanna say a bad mouthful about the PPE right now but it won't get me anywhere. i tried emailing PPE and got no repsonse yet and so far alot of help from TDR users but not enough to make anyheadway towards getting the truck to run.

Low batterys/voltage can cause things electronic to seize. Actually disconnecting batterys to bleed computers down is like 3 minutes or so. Theres been other post of downloaders locking up ecm's. Eaither took a program from the downloader manufacture or ecm reprogramed by a knowledgeable D. C. dealer employess. A few ecm's have been ruined and needed repacement. YOU need a phone for lots of safetly reasons not just this issue. First thing in the A. M. when business opens you need to call the downloader manufacture. If you have a trickle battery charger(2 amp) unhook those batterys and let them slow charge all night and go from there.

i have took and disconected the bateries and the next day read voltage of just below 1- so the ecm never really loses power untill you take it off the truck, this helps serve as memory in the ecm.

ta hell with ppe. I have held my cool off long enough. I am brushing my teef jumpin in the shower. walking down to a buddy I haven't seen in a whiles house and asking his dad who works for AAA tow haul me over to the dealer and get the latest updates from dalmer chrysler. I am sick and tired of this non sense of not having a truck. If PPE cant check there (foul word) email twice a day and sells a bunch of crap that don't work they can have their crap back. when my buddy comes home I will probably be taking the PPE over to his house and do some illegal shooting of the shotgun within the city limits. as a future note PPE will constantly get beat on by me everywhere I go and whoever I talk to cuz I have honestly had enough of their (poop). I am sorry I am blowing up on here but maybe my fit may convince others out there considering buying a PPjunk

Have you tried calling them to see if they have a fix? You mentioned that you didnt think it was the right part, why would you use it in the fist place if it wasnt the correct one? Before you get shotgun happy, you might see if they will give you your money back or at least a working unit if that one does indeed prove to be incorrect or faulty. just my thoughts...

DEAR ALL THAT HAVE POSTED ON THIS THREAD AND MENTIONED CALL PP(bullcrap): You may have a telephone whether that be a landline or a cell phone or both. I DON'T so don't mention it. I had a land line but I didn't use it enough so I got rid of the service. I had a cell phone but nextels have a problem with the chargers wearing out the motherboard where the charger plugs in. I have gone through countless nextels and have seen the few revisions nextel has made to try to get rid of the problem. And at first I the palce I was buying new nextels from kept making me sign paperwork. turns out the paper work was another years worth of contracts. I have 3 more years worth of contracts. When i caught on to what they were doing I told them I wouldn't sign a thing from them again so they stated charging me list price for the phone which was double the price. But that was a few months ago when I lived in NC. Now that I am in this worthless town I went to by a new nextel phone and he wouldn't sell it to me. we exchanged some words and I left. The other nextel store in this town is the same way. SO AS OF RIGHT NOW I DON"T HAVE A PHONE. AND I WILL NOT HAVE A PHONE UNTIL I GET MY TRUCK OPERABLE TO GO GET A PHONE. MENTIONING A PHONE IN THIS THREAD DOESN"T HELP GET THE TRUCK RUNNING. IF I HAD A PHONE I WOULD HAVE CALLED PPE A LONG TIME AGO. In this world there are several ways of contacting people. Did you know before the telephone existed people would write a letter and somebody or a bird would take the message to the person they wanted to get in touch with. then the tapping kind this I think was call the telegrapher. some time after that they invented the telephone. then they invented a cell phone. They scientist invented the internet to contact other scientist around the world. Nowadays the websites have evolved so you can contact somebody from the persons very own website.



I am sorry I gave you a crappy history lesson but I wanted show you there are so many ways to get in touch with someone these days. so of them are more direct than others but I am dealing with all that I have right now. cavemen didn't have cable tv to stay up all night watching it so they went to bed. If you don't have the luxury of technology all you can do is revert to doing what you had to before that technology existed or find another suitable technology for communication in its place. I am doing all I can without a telephone and am not getting what I need to fix my truck. PPE has not yet returned my countless emails. Meanwhile banks employees on TDR keep talking to me and want to help me all they can with my 6 gun that I took off my truck and bad mouthed about on TDR. it only goes to show how good of a company Banks is and only makes me want to fix my truck and buy the sensor and fix the banks and be happy. I am sorry I used CAPS but I wanted things to stand out in this post. I wasn't shouting I just wanted certain things to be more visible to the readers that don't read very well and simply skim and post about a telephone

I couldn't get a hold of xtreme diesel using the communication they promote on their website, which is their online chat. I attempted to chat with xtreme diesel and I was waiting for them to respond then they just turned off their online staus and closed up for the night. My concerns were that they sent me the base model xccellerator and not the HOT that I paid for. So I figured I just give it a wurl until I got a hodl of them. It was for the correct year model truck tho. Then it screwed up my truck. Next day i tried talking to xtreme diesel to find out if I got the right part and jeremy wouldn't look it up or call ppe (he was telling me to call them after I told him my situation) he was just assuming by the part number and I could tell he didn't know for sure. he was simply a salesman that didn't work in the department responsible for packaging the right PPE and shippping it. Xtreme diesels website said the proper part number was HOTdxcel something else. I recieved HDxcel something. Yeah you and I could always assume the H was for hot but I wanted to be postive and he wouldn't find out for sure. \



about the shotgun stuff. I am so fed up with the nonsense PP(bullcrap) has caused that I need a stress reliever. I think it would be nice of me to take a few pictures of what to do with a Crappy company's crappy product and post it all over the internet on every diesel site I can search for and find on google. Then send the product back to PPE and tell them it didn't work. I am Mad, stressed out, and put up with too much bull**** on a daily basis that keeps a black cloud over my head all the time.
