Are there any site where you can download music to make cd's that are free. My daughter had one a while back can't remember the name of it but it has since shut down. She had Morpheus where she was getting music. She finally showed me how to download them. I had about 10 so far and something happened to it. She says she does not know what-Um. She took the icon off my part of the puter-Um. She said that since I started using it something happened to it-Um. Maybe she don't want me doing it anymore:--) But there ought to be something out there I could get music from and make my own cd. Does anybody know of some place?

You can download music on Kazaa, it takes a while to download the desktop but it works pretty well once you have that.

Larry, turn the news on bud, the musicians banded together and had them sites shut down. They were only making 50 million a year instead of 70 million because CD sales were way down due to everyone downloading the music off the net free. There are pay sites now. Funny I had this idea about 10 years ago to start a web page where people could log in and download individual songs at a great price compared to buying the entire CD. I had a friend who is really into music tell me I was nuts and that nobody would do that, so I bagged the idea. Oh well.

I might be willing to pay. Maybe half the price of what you pay for them cd's now. If they would put 19-20 songs on them cd's it would not be to bad. But 7-9 songs on the ones you get now are not worth it to me.

If the musicains make less every year, who cares!!!!

My daughter said she use to get them from Kazaa but kept having problems with it and it was to slow. Thats when she switched to Morpheus. I will look at that link of your illfem. Thanks

That's why I put an MP3 player in my truck. I got tired to changing out CD's. I put about 250 songs on a cd. Which means I still have about 8 CD's but it's better than 800.
