I try that link says application error and gives number to call 1-888- Wi TECH-1, is this the avenue to get electrical schematics?

Ignore the main body of the page. Look at the header bar in the top of the window, where it'll have fill-ins for VIN as well as year/model/engine.

Thanks, JHawes. That's a gold mine.

Not as good of wiring diagrams as in past generations but much better information on locations of connectors and modules. The wiring "diagrams" are mostly bus lines from module to module, not much real wiring. But that's how they're building them these days I guess.

Click on the elements in the wiring diagrams and you get even more information.

BTW, you can download their online training program through the "help and support" link to get the full depth of what they have here. I have found their pictorial location schematics helpful already.

Yes, these trucks are controlled by modules and there are far more of them than I expected!

JHawes thanks for the tips on how to get diagrams, will use for issued with trailer connections in 3500 bed for gooseneck. Thanks!

I thought it was pretty cool. The only way I got this sort of info in the past was from buying the repair manuals.

Repair CD's for 2011 and up do not contain wiring info. I purchased 2015 Service manual on cd and it did not contain wiring info, contact with support at tech authority said that it was not included after 2010. The web site stated that it was so they corrected that and gave me 3 day subscription.

It no longer seems to be working, as I get the 404 error even when copy and paste. could be a problem with their sever or internet will check later.

If you go to the tech authority website, it's now a pay option.

Their paid options might make sense for a repair shop that needs regular access to diagrams for various vehicles but not for an owner who requires access every once in a while on random basis for a single model vehicle.
