Time for a welder

Kwik-Lift

I know many years back there was a website that gave time estimated for auto repair.
Does anyone know of one?
I've long lost the link and the SIL wants me to do a waterpump on her 2001 1500 ram.
Thanks

Warranty time is 1.4 with ac and p,steering

That's a 5.2/5.9?
Bob, is there a add on or separate op to replace the bypass hose that's stuffed under the accessory bracket?

Good call on the bypass hose.It gives more problems than the pump for sure.Cp would add about.5-warranty would call it overlapping,it would take a good warranty administrator to get any labor for it

Took almost 4 hours.
Understandable. I'm not young and flexible as I once was. Nor as strong.
The fan nut was a booger. Had to heat it. That could have knocked off a solid 45 minutes easily.
When I finished, I pulled it into the street.........and blew a brake line.
I hate working on vehicles anymore.Especially ones that aren't mine.

Yea, my in laws family are good for that.
"The guy on youtube did it in 15 minutes" Lol.... It dont work like that.....NOTHING works like that! :D
He/they know all about the brake lines, they did most of them.
It's the one that runs under the K frame under the engine. That figures. Couldn't be an easy one.
I did that one on my truck and told them straight out I'm not replacing it with factory steel.....not after doing mine. That was a PITA!
I'll try to get er done today.
