If anyone has ever changed the small (3/8", 1/2" maybe) freeze plug on the passenger side of the back of the head (the head is sort of chamfered on the back, passenger side corner, and the plug is in that surface facing about 45 deg. from the truck's center line), I'd appreciate your sharing your experience. I'm mostly concerned with how to get the old one (leaking, on my truck) out, given it's brutal location (Cummins Northeast wants 4 hours to change it).

Hi, I think there is a wright up in here on that plug. Im not for sure but i think it was the same plug it was a good write up with all tools, parts and tips on it :) I would do a search on it in here i would forward it to you but im not that good at doing things on the computer i still have,nt got my trucks picture in here. Good luck Bkenny

I had the dodge dealer do mine, they charged me less than . 5 of an hour labor, and like $. 75 for the plug. Best $40 I ever spent on this thing. That repair looks tough, but the dodge tech that did mine had it done in a few minutes. It was the exact same one, on the little angle at the back of the head on the pass side.
