Scangauge II..does it really clear codes?

Hope I don't get in trouble here!!

Well, I got the skid back today and the freeze plugs held up to 2 hours of work. But now I have a *BAD* oil leak. There's a plate that the bellhousing and the block attach to. The starter mounts to that plate too. Oil is coming out from behind the starter which means the bellhousing is full of oil - probably a rear main.

I told my salesman and the service manager I want a new crate engine and they said yes. They've got to pull the engine anyway and I don't have a lick of confidence in it.

Good for you John! It sounds like you have it well under control, and the dealer is stepping up to the plate for you.

Keep us posted.

Cummins repower? ;) :-laf:-laf:-laf

We have 2 Case loaders (1840 and 40XT) that have the Cummins. The other is a 1835C with a POS 3cylinder Continental diesel in it. Shakes like a SOB, and gutless. Always have to check the engine mounting bolts to make sure they are tight. Have had some fall out.
