Hey Guys, I was wondering if anyone out there knows where I can buy a radiator cover of better yeat grill inserts to keep so much air going through the radiator and taking 2 days to warm up my truck on these cold Fall mornings?? (When Winter hits I guess I could build a small fire in the glove box!!)

Thanks for any input. Jace

P. S. I have a sport grill ;)

grill inserts

There's a member here that advertises the inserts in the classified section. EricBU or something like that. They look really sharp and I'll be getting a set as soon as I take possession of my ride :) He has pic's posted of them...

I tried the Dodge cold front (zipper in front of the grill) and found my highway mileage went down 2-3 mpg. Now I just use a piece of cardboard with a couple of 4-5 inch diameter holes cut in it. Fits real nice between the innercooler and radiator. Works fine.

On that Dodge front--I have had one for several years and 157,000 miles towing and have not seen any decrease in mileage. It is recommended that you leave part of it open on the left side facing forward to uncover the innercooler. I have done that and maybe that is the difference.

I just purchased a Lund. Snaps in quick (abs plastic). Works great. Now if it would only get cold. :(

Do you have a sport or regular model truck?

First Frost

The temp really dropped last night, down to about 30. Before that mid 30s was the coldest. I am putting my shiny Lund SS grille inserts in tonight.
