Friend is wanting more power HELP !

he has a 05 3500 single wheel 4x4 w/ crazy larry , 4 in exhaust , afe intake , and zex nitrous (not installed yet) . he is want to upgrade to a bigger turbo , maybe injectors , intercooler , high ram , and maybe water meth . what about stacking w/ the crazy larry ? he is wanting it fast but yet still drivable . the truck is lifted with 35s and is not used for towing . looking for any input on what is working and places or people to buy from . i will be doing all the work myself . one more thing does he need studs w/ just the nitrous ? thanks

just had billet shafts , converter, and valve body installed trans is set for some upgrades . about 5 grand . thanks

He is now at the point where a transmission becomes a must. Beyond that I would say a true power monger looking for drivability should consider towing class twins. I have a 66 class turbo and still want twins. Of course I really don't know anything.

what is the 66 class turbo ? he is wanting to put twins on it later but know whats to put a bigger single on it . he does things in stages . thanks

He just had an 05 in his shop, it was pushing the limits of the stock injection pump(lots of power)



BTW, this truck had the SPS 66, it left the shop with twins

66 series is available from High Tech Turbo as a sledpuller 66 and at Industrial Injection as a phat shaft 66 and super phat shaft 66. However as stated above twins are nice.

he doesn't want to put twins on it now so who makes a turbo that you can use latter with twins . i just ordered a high ram today was 303 shipped to much . i hope not that is the cheapest i could find . thanks

Industrial is working on a twins kit as we speak to mount a Phat Shaft on top and like an HT3B on bottom, or whatever you like. BD makes a set of twins that are pretty decent. My buddy has an 05 3500 DRW 4x4 with TST, crazy larry, injectors, fass and BD twins and he loves it. Me, I am planning on putting a Super Phat Shaft 62 on my 06 until the twins kit comes out from Industrial or I decide to build my own.
