I know there are a couple of old Bronco fans on here and thought you guys would love to see this. A good friend of mine and my brother finished building up his Bronco over the winter into a KILLER dune machine. They did the chassis design and fabrication for their masters thesis (both are ME's at Ford). Unforetunately I couldn't help and couldn't make this trip to the dunes because my neck is still healing from my surgery :( . Right now it's got about 500 horses under the hood - in other words it flies (quite literally as you can see in these pics :) ). Glad to see it works as well as they had hoped. He jumped it all weekend and didn't break anything. Sand sports magazine is flying here next month to do a feature article on it. I'm hoping my surgeon will clear me in a couple weeks so I can go to the dunes July 4th weekend and get the e-ticket ride.

You couldn't pry it from his cold dead fingers. He just put about $35,000 plus their time into it. I doubt he'd take $100k for it.

I don't have them yet but I'll take some next time I see him. I haven't seen him since before my surgery - he lives about 2 hours away now. The engine is a 302 with 351 heads that he built himself - the specifics on what cam, valves, exhaust, intake, carb, etc I don't know. He also has a 351 sitting there that he bought from the top pro 5. 0 mustang builder that dyno'd at close to 700 hp on gas alone that he's going to put in a sand drag truck - but you never know when it might get dropped into this one for a weekend ;) . As I recall the suspension has 2" heim joint at all ends, 4 link front and rear. No springs - the shocks are made by the same company that builds the majority of monster truck shocks and are about 5 feet long on extension, I believe they were around $1,200/shock. Even the bump stops are hydraulic! When I get close up pics I'll post them here.

steve i finally put pictures of my truck in here wish i had done it on my first tk i don't know if this is ok or if it even works pasted web address of my tk hoping for it to show on my post if this is not ok let me know or if there is a way of doing it different tell me

Saw it

I met the owner and saw the truck at WITC this weekend. He seemed pretty interested in mine as well.

That truck is awsome. He has some serious fabrication skills. I'm terrible with names, but when I was talking to him, I told him I had seen pictures of his truck here. I finally remembered your name and told him. It made more sense to him then how I had seen pictures of it. He's a great guy and was with a great bunch of people as well. I think he took Stacey David for some high speed blasts through the field. That thing sounds SWEET.

I shouldn't be surprised at the number of TDR folks who also have ebs. I have two ebs one fsb and one Cummins. There is life out there:D

Here's a couple new pics from a magazine photo shoot they did a few weeks ago. I'm meeting him at the dunes this weekend - can't wait to get the e-ticket ride :D . This'll be my first time out on the dunes in a long time, really looking forward to it.
