I am considering going from Delo to one of the synthetics. What is the best way to do it? Does it matter if a little of the leftover dino mixes with the syn? Is it even possible to get ALL the oil out of an engine? And which synthetic is best?:-laf Just kidding on that last question. I'll figure that out myself!

If you have less than 25-30 thousand miles, and you have been changing oil at good intervals, you should be able to switch over without doing anything at all, just switch! As far as worrying about mixing the synthetic with the petrolium, DON'T! All (PAO) based synthetics now days are compatible, and does not matter.
