Cummins L10

From Duramax site - vs. cummins

I was on the duramax site this morning and found this post. Couldn't resist coping it to our site. .

"Ok people here is the problem. I have a 2001 2500HD Crew Cab D/A Stock. My brother has a 1998 Dodge Cummings Quad Cab with a BD power Chip. The chip he has claims to add a maximum of 40 HP. We were both pulling our 5th Wheel trailers with an additional Quad trailer on behind. The total weight including the trucks was within 180lbs of each other (the Dodge was the slightly heavier rig). We were traveling side by side going up a hill travelling about 55mph. We both hit full throttle at exactly the same time. The Dodge left my shiny new D-max standing still. I am very depressed as I had been bragging to him for weeks. It was almost like my turbo did not kick in. Any way, I got my Butt kicked. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

If this guy really needs a "suggestion" then he just doesn't get it! If being beaten by a pretty much stock Cummins didn't register in the ol' brain well enough, then he'll never realize that his Duracrap can't win. Oh well, let him buy a bunch of chrome and other dress up 'do-dads' to throw on that thing. That's what most of the chevy guys do anyway. "If it don't go, chrome it!"
