I 2nd with @Ozymandias about difficulty. Then making a seal puller with some all thread and plywood discs to get seated without destroying the seals. Not sure if this applies to these trucks are not since I've not been involved with a 2nd Gen Ram. Have seen it done on other brands. Maybe it was just how the Ol' Timer did it back then. Funny, now I could be considered the Ol' Timer! If doing seals, what about u-joints and bearings? If you're in there, might as well consider these also. Be prepare with the swear jar!!! Warn others ahead of when you'll be doing the work so that they won't take any comments seriously! Good like with the repairs!
Take your time. Measure the seal depth before you remove the old ones. It is best done is a garage with good music and plenty of your favorite beverage on hand.
