Front Axle rating

My 08 6. 7 4X4 3500 has a 5200 lb front axle. Is this the normal axle?

Sounds about right. I don't have a factory brochure to check. There is no alternate axle so I don't know why you would have a different one.

I have a 2500HD 4X4 2008 Mega Cab, the truck is equipped with the AA 9. 25 axle on the front. The sticker on the door for GAWR, list the front axle as 5200 LBS with LT265/70R17E tires as equipped. The 3500HD and 2500HD share the same front axle. This is the only axle that is offered for both the 08 and 09 2500/3500HD trucks.
