Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Front axle seal leaking

Looking for help with changing front right axle seal on 97 2500. Cant find tools to pull or set seal. I pulled axle out and tube is full of sludge. Need a good way to clean the tube. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I can't remember the details, but but I saw a thread here on TDR a while back that had directions, and pictures.

If my memory serves me, the R&R tools were homemade using 3/8"x3' all-thread, nuts/washers, galv. pipe caps etc.

I have done it using the home made way and the tools quad 4x4 sells seen here: front axle shaft seal installers



I much prefer the real tools. Its doable without them and there is a site with instructions as mentioned but I don't know the address right now. Maybe I will do some looking when I have more time.
