My driver's side axle seal is leaking, and I was wondering if I need any special sockets or other tools to pull it apart. Any helpful tips on how to do this would be appriciated.

Same here..

Mine is leaking from the right axle tube. Just

enough to make the axle tube oily but not enough

to drip (yet).

I hope this is not the first reason to take mine

to the dealer.

awhile back someone advised me not to fix my leaking axel seal. It started after a brake job when the rotors were removed. Ill be darned if he wasnt right. I let it leak for a month and no more leak. Dont remember to told me but thanks. Stealer wanted $650.

HAHAHAHAHA yes it has oil in it!! I was so paranoid, i would check it every other day. Never even needed to add. It seemed to seal it self up. And they dont leak as much as you might think. RRR

Well, mine is dripping. Seems to be getting worse, but I'm not sure. Only been a week.

About leaving it alone for awhile, that's almost a given with my schedule right now. We'll see what happens.

Even though it's under warranty, the dealer is not going to touch this truck.

Texas Diesel, I plan to do this myself, but it would be nice to have them if I have any problems later that will require me to take it in. PM me if you want. Thanks.
