Well the u joints are not the problem right now, the problem now is getting the hub assembly off with out destorying it. so far I have been trying all day and cant get it to budge. As far as I can tell there is only 4 bolts holding it on, and I removed them. Just not real sure if I can get it off with out making this job more expensive.

There are some threads on removing the hubs using a bolt as a cheater. Do a search and see what comes up.

I did that research just a few weeks ago for a topic on atvquadsquad.com

Here ya go:

It took some digging through TDR to find "the good stuff" but here it is:

This thread is a good discussion on various tools and methods that others have used. Reply #7 describes a good way to do it *without* the proper tool, but #16 shows a picture of the correct tool, that he was able to RENT for $7.

I have one of these, but mine only has 3 legs. It got the job done, but if I ever find a extra leg for it (reasonably priced) I'll buy it.

I also searched a lot of websites for tools, and found these:

2251 Universal Wheel Hub Puller

QT1037A - Four Leg Puller

And this one from Proto

I have the Neapco ones from Catco and they work fine. But its just a u-joint, kindof a works or it doesn't deal.

When I took my axle joints out I had to cut my ball joints so the hub ***. could be put in a press to get it apart. Then new ball joints were added to the bill. Not so pretty cool.
