Are you referring to the wide clips and bolts that hold the calipers to the brackets? If yes, then I havent had any issues with them, and I've had plenty of D rigs. I have a few extras I've picked up here and around.

No problem here in the northeast rustbelt for me anyway.

Are yours rusting thru? Is that the issue? Or something else?

mine arn't on long enough to get rusty. they just break. the 90 was werse than the 93. I think the holder brakets that are boltedto the spindles get worn then alow the calapers to move to much. I know when they are broke because the calapers pop up and rub the rims then when I let go they just fall back in place. Maby the roters have a majer taper and are shuving the calapers out.

If you are breaking the bolts that hold the caliper in place then there is a problem with the fit of the caliper to the stationary part that the caliper mounts to. The bolts should not see any stress from braking action, the stress should be transmitted through the caliper assembly to the stationary mounting bracket. Look at where the front of the caliper contacts the bracket, it should nestle the caliper so it can't move either inward or outward when the brakes are aapplied, same with the rear end of the caliper. bg

1 of mine was broken on the outer bar a couple years ago. I tack welded it. I was looking at it just the other day, still holding! :D
