Front brake pads at 137,000 miles.

OEM brake pads at 137,000 on the Mega Cab. Could not be any more pleased with the longevity of the pads. Ordered another set of OEM pads and cheerfully paid the $110.00....

I'm at 236K and still have the OEM and plenty left. PACBRAKE always used. However I spend 85% of my time on the highway and very little in town. But I'll probably go OEM again.

No, I haven't yet. Don't dare to look.....

Going to jinx myself by saying this, but I've never worn out a rear set. I've put 2 on the 04.5 but both times have been from a stuck left rear caliper.

I think it suffered from the "Lowbed Syndrome"....

Nothing I've seen is any harder on brakes than a lowbed. Finally figured out that lowbeds at least in this area sit unused for extended periods of time. So rust builds up on the drums. First application of the brakes removes the rust along with a fair amount of brake lining.

Truck sits a lot now so the rotors rust up in between uses.

Is there a difference in the "OEM" and "Valueline" brake pads?

I am pretty sure there is a difference. I looked these up using the truck vin and ordered exactly what was shown. I did not see the word "Valueline" in the parts look up or on the box itself.

Nice, Only thing I want to mention is that there are different levels of OEM pads and the cheaper ones will not hold up as well as the ones that come on the truck. As Crispy Boy asked and from what Ive seen the value lines are just not the same. Hopefully one of the Dodge dealer guys can verify though.

Absolutely, the Mopar Value line does not offer anything close to the longevity of the Mopar Premium line. The Premium pads are the oem ones that came on your truck from the factory.

Those pads look overdue to me. Mine are in great shape @66K. 2000# constant weight. The manual sure helps.

Check the Rears. On my truck they were worn about the same as the fronts. I also found a stuck caliper piston. The brakes had over 100,000 mi on them.
