We are at Cocopah RV and golf resort in Yuma, Az. I have the left front Caliper hanging up. NAPA can have one tomorrow, however I am not sure I have all the tools to change it. Anyone live in the area or have a reference for a shop. If we remove the wheel and pry it back/apply brakes a few times (well maybe a brunch of times)will it free up enough to finish this trip? Is the one on it a NAPA reman?

I washed my hands of anything reman from them after I had 3 lock up on me in a little over a years time. The first two I was fairly close to home but the third one left me a couple hundred miles from home. I understand your in a pinch, and I'd use them too if there was nothing else but it would be my last choice. The NAPA here will deliver parts and we are quite rural so maybe you could look into that, as well as the tools your missing to do the job. It would still be cheaper than paying a shop to wrench on it.

Good luck

If you still have the original flex lines to the calipers it is a very good possibility that one has failed and created an internal check valve. I would replace them as well.

so what shop are you using? Headed back to Yuma next week, just wandered if you were happy with service, etc. Never know, I may be next!! Thanks and hope it worked out great.

Franklin's 1835 S Arizona Ave. I will post more when we get the truck back today. Guy working on in has a 2014 Mega Cab 2500. SNOKING

Got the truck back today, all seems well at this point. It took an extra day as the one brake hose was wrong and had to be ordered a second time. Snoking

We have a neighbor from home that is in one of the Brenda parks. I believe the one on the South side of the highway. They are really into music and the park has jam sessions all the time. SNOKING
