Just finished changing out front brake pads and front/rear shocks with the first utilization of NAPA lifetime warranty parts. I like it parts for free!! Anyways, while I had stuff apart I checked the front rotors and they had a lot of runout. I replaced with new NAPA ones ($50 each), however, I had one H##l of a time getting axle nut off. I had it off once before, but this time it took 2 hrs, 900lb impact gun and a good soaking from commercial grade liquid wrench. The threads on the outside short shaft are marginal. It went back together, but it will be trouble again. Any ideas on where (other than the Mopar ripoff) to get parts. Thanks

Sorry it took me so long to get to this thread, and yes, i did have the extreme version of this problem. Anyway, I found my replacement axleshaft for 150 traded at a driveline store, they are pretty common. If you can't find one, let me know, it only took me ten minutes the first time, so I'm sure it wouldn't take too long for me to track one down. Antisieze is the key! Email me if you need more advise.
