Ok posted about this a couple weeks ago I have a 97 CTD I had all new rotors

and calipers put on the front and it pulled to the left when ever I hit the brakes bled the system numerous times and still pulled. A mechanic in town said its possiable that the rubber lines could be getting bad so i put new lines on and guess what still pulls to left when i took the old rotors off i had to replace the drivers side wheel bearing I dont know if that would have anything to do with it could it be a bad caliper cause they are re mans I'm stuck between a rock and a hard spot. Any ideas or info would be great

Did you adjust the rear brakes when you put the new stuff on the front, and bled the system? If the rears are out of adjustment, they could cause it to pull to one side.

After taking a run down the road with minimal to no braking check the disks through the wheel very carefully with your fingers and see if one is hotter. If you have a caliper dragging you should know it. You can also jack up the front end and see if they spin nice.

You can also swap front tires. Does your truck track well when you are not braking or does it want to pick a new track all the time?

The indication I use for adjusting the rear brakes is truck starts to pull left. After adjusting the rears the pull usually stops. At this point it can take 30 clicks to get them adjusted. I would get SS brake lines for the fronts, helps alot keeping pressure even to both rotors.

its been a couple of years since i left the dealer but if i recall dodge had a tsb for that and the fix was a set of spacers put between the rim and hub.

SMorneau touched on a good point. Sometimes a tires size can be off from the others, even when they are the same size. We had a Durango that pulled bad. We had to make sure that tire was alwas on the back when they were rotated.
