2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Front Brakes

I know someone here can help me with this one. I have no idea what kind of bolt is holding the calipers on the front of my truck. What kind is it and where can I buy the socket to fit it. Thanks 2001 2500 quad short 4X4

16 pt 5/8" will work, just had my right front off this weekend. I'm sure it's metric (16mm) as the standard was a tight fit, but I didn't have any 16pt metric sockets.



Two bolts, one at top and one at bottom.

Mine are not a hex bolt at all. they are a torex bolt. Just on the fronts. the Back are a metric allen head.

thanks for the help did the job this evening. hardest thing was taking the huge tires off. I really like this site. I just hope I am not boring everyone with my questions.
