I am looking for a new front bumper for my truck. I like both the Runel and the DOR. But nothing will work with a Fisher Minute Mount plow Frame. A fellow TDR member gave me some pictures of his front bumper but I just don't have the time to devote to building amd modifying a bumper to fit. Any members have any ideas. I'd appreciate any input. Thanks.

Good question. I unfortunately do not know the answer.

However because the Denver Offroad Bumper doesn't cover the front frame brace their may be a way to modify a Plow frame Attachment to fit with the truck. It would have to be extended forward out on the truck so it won't interfere with the bumper. With the Reunel, It comes down much lower than the DOR. This would definitely interfere with the plow mount.

Another path to explore is to Build a Bumper with the Frame mount built in. Some Fisher dealers are Body and Frame Welders. So If you mount the frame have them weld a 3/8 inch bumper to where your bumper was. Thats a possibility.

I was thinking of looking into that if and when my Plow truck $#!t's the bed.

I Have a Fisher That is mounted on my plow truck. GREAT PRODUCT! I Purchased mine from WH Rose in Willimantic CT and I know they do Custom frame and body Welding.

Camara,

Call Layne at DOR directly and ask about the plow issue. I remember a while ago he was making a mounting set up for a guy that integrated his plow frame and the DOR bumper. He is a fabricator, he probably can work something out.

Ted

The DOR integrated plow setup was for me. I have a meyers plow and I had Layne integrate some brackets into the bumper where I mounted the lift arm pivot. I then made a new tubular frame to fit the Meyers lower plow "carton?". This holds the pump but not the lift arm like the standard Meyers setup, replaces the Meyers removable tubular frame, and is still removable. Just an extra pin for the lift arm pivot. I'll try to get some pictures to post. I'll be mounting lights directly to the bumper.

The set up is solid. Layne had indicated some guys with Meyers setups were simply sliding the removable tubular frames in front of the bumper but I wanted a cleaner look. As Ted indicated, talk to Layne at DOR, he'll fix you up.
