Wifey had a blowout on the front tire a while back. Not a good situation, but she kept it under control. Fortunately she was empty!

Well the tire took out the front bumper plasic stuff, and the new parts were going to add up pretty fast. So I am thinking of an aftermarket bumper... . But I am not into putting a winch on the truck. I do have an 8000# Warn, but I don't use it on the front of my truck. The only place I have used it is winching things onto my trailer.

So, my question is, does anyone know of a decent bumper that fits this truck with a Boss snowplow that won't look stupid without a winch? Any pics?

jwest bumper

ox, can't post a pic right now, but if you search for jwest bumpers you should find a couple pics of my recent post. John West, a TDR member builds a very nice, reasonably priced bumper that will work with a snow plow. A blown tire or a deer should have no ill effects! :D JimG.

front bumper for 2G Ram

Go to SledPuller.com (you're welcome Gene) and look in the links page. There is a nice picture there, and I can send you

more as well, along with $$ info and other stuff. I've got

a few parts in stock, ready to build you one, so let me know.

That is a real nice looking bumper, and you can't beat the price.

JWest - do you make matching rear bumpers also?

if your looking for a STRONG bumper I suggest Buckstop. biz. I put one on and not only looks mean, is mean. Get allot of people staring at it. It's prisey at $1200, but I think it's worth it.

I got one also and I have people tell me NICE truck alot now. Buckstop that is. It really does something for the truck. It comes with a front reciever and tow hooks and is winch ready

Thanks guys. I have been following right along. I talked to John West the other night. His sounds like a good product and a favorable price compared to the competition. Looks about like what I am looking for I think. Just not qute ready to fork out quite that much bucks yet. I can glue/rivit/bubblegum mine back together yet at this point. He was just outside my mental price IYKWIM. I might venture that way at a later date, but thanks for the ideas.

$1200 for a bumper? :--) I'd rather spend that $ sledding! ;)

They let you post pics on here? Why don't I see more then?

Thanks guys!
