I am wondering if anybody has installed an aftermarket front bumper on their truck. Was the installation easy or hard? Did you have to drill any holes to mount the bumper. What brand did you buy and why? Will the new front bumper cause the air bag to work different?

On my 01 I put a Denver Off Road Bumper on. It was no problem. No drilling at all. Bolted right up. Had the old one off and the new one on in about an hour and fifteen minutes.

Same as BarryG. Did it all by myself. Of course I don't have a winch in it yet... that would be a wee bit too heavy to install by myself :)

Heres a pic of mine,

It's a Ute Bullbar from Ute No drilling required just bolted right up.

Hi I swapped my bumper for a Canadian bumper called Ali-Arc it looks like the Denver Bumper or the Aussie import it is made of aluminum an bolts right up to the original holes. no drilling.

Not a very good picture, but I have one on my 94 as well as the 03. No big deal really. The 03 factory bolts are LONG so you either need to un-bolt the intercooler or cut them. 94 was a breeze.

I did both bumpers using the roof trusses in the garage and rachet straps to hang the bumper and drive the truck to it. One man job.
