I installed the Energy Suspension kit for the '80's ram charger(k5 blaser dodge version) on my 91.5 IC D-250 all the cab mounts were a match. Except the radator support uppers . My stock upper were fine so I reused them. I now have a bunch of fabercation parts(the extra bushings for the aft body)
My driver radator support lower was MIA so when I hit a bad bump the frame would come up slap the body , it would jump reaching the end of the bolt with a jolt. And then repeat in reverse on the way down , soundes like a broken shock dubble bounce.
A major side effect was it caused a yaw angle bias to the passanger side ( felt like the RR was rolling under from a flat tire@80psi) it would lean till the body pulled the slack out of the bolt. Then stiffen up as the body tryed to lift the LF suspension. This was most disconcerting. Had Les Swab in Wa, Or, Mt, Ut, inspect the truck on many occasions. :--)They never found any thing. Complant was soft rear in corners more severe on long fast leftys. Turn left push gas turn right still going left..#@$%!. the body mounts solved 1/2 the problems . The other 1/2 is the rear spring swing shackles moves 1/2" left and right in med-light G loading up to 1"full in hard cornering.(75through a 45posted should be closer to 95-105). They said it an old truck . Bought a gopro to solve this.
Spring bushings were fun to order . Teck asks 1/2 or 3/4 bolts ? Deffently not 3/4" so 1/2 shiped . I have 5/8 bolts. ? Are my springs from something elce or did dodge do some thing odd.
