I got my from Dodge as I didn't want a lift or have the need to lengthen the control arms, if the tags are gone from your coils you can look at the build sheet. I went with heavier springs as that was my desire, put on number higher rating on the drivers side of your truck, I'm very happy with mine, I tow heavy, I like it to ride like a truck but there will be many that disagree with me

I have the original front springs with a pair of Bilsteins. My truck was ordered with the Heavy Duty tow package and I replaced the springs with the Kore Leveling Kit and longer Bilsteins. PM me if you are interested.

How do you like the Kore leveling kit? How much hight did you gain? I have a cheap 2. 5inch, spacer style, leveling kit. Its ok but like the idea of variable rate springs.

Dan...

I also have a set of the factory HD coils from my 98 here collecting dust.

They were removed at 80k when I went to the D25 Skyjacker Coils.

If you need them you may have them, just cover the cost of shipping and they are yours. They will never go back on my truck and I am sick of them sitting here and tripping over them and I LOVE the look of the truck now... ..... Andy

If my truck has the 8,800 GVW does that mean it has the HD spring set? It seems everything I ever buy at the parts store is based on the highest GVW rate that was offered.

Check Rock Auto... they carry a full line of different rate springs from a single vendor (can't recall the name) that should give you anything you are looking for.

It gets confusing when ordering parts. All the 2500's have an 8800 GVW however the CTD's all have the higher GVW parts when it comes to brake and suspension parts

Andy, PM sent, Tom

Kore Leveling Kit

I am very pleased with the levelling kit. I put the spings on and it raised the front about 2-2. 5 inches. I then put the bumper and 16. 5 Warn on and the truck sits level and rides much better than it ever did with the factory springs.

So Kore Springs w/Bilstein shocks (I did not use the blocks), Carli links, DSS steering stabilizer, Adjustable track bar, and 285 Toyo MT's. It works well pulling the TT, the steering is acceptable (but still not great) and either towing, empty, or lightly loaded the ride quality is far superior to stock.

I any one is interested in the original springs and the Bilsteins just send me a note.
