yes i would like to know how i can get the coil springs i have 2500 4-4 2002 couse i am puting a snowplow on and i did not order from dealer so can any body help me please

to my knowledge the dealer is the only place to get the coil springs for the late model trucks. and you will probably have to have a member here locate the part #'s for the snowplow prep springs. DC can only tell you what springs your truck came with.

As I mentioned else where on this board but they moved the thread try Summitracing.com they are now $140 a pair and you should be able to get a shop to put them in for less than $150. Follow the link below to see the summit spring page. Buying springs from the dealer would probably cost a fortune.

The springs aren't that expensive from DC. Look at the tag on yours to see what you currently have, and then go here Dodge spring chart to see what else is available. Give the spring code you want to the dealer so they can give you prices.

I wouldn't recommend lift springs,as they will make the truck sit higher, but may have lower load capacity,so it will sag more with the plow on.

You may not even need the springs, depending on what you have. Adding a set of Timbrens will be your best bet,to keep the front end up with the plow on.

Another good site to check out for plowing and stuff. www.plowsite.com

I will say that with my 9 foot fisher on the front my truck barely moves when I lift the plow with the 2 inch lift springs plus the truck rides alot better. My truck, a 3500 quad cab had 039 springs on both side originally. As for these springs lifting the truck, that was half my point I wanted the truck to sit level which it does now. If I was towing or hauling alot then the truck would sit rear down a little. Also as bigramguy said I would try first and see where the truck sits, if you are putting on a 7 1/2 or 8 foot meyers plow on you could probably get away with what you have.

I have the plow package. My springs are 39/46's.

I currently have new leveling springs from Skyjacker in a box so I'll have a set of plow springs with about 36k miles available in a little over a week if your interested.
