Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Front crank seal

What is the best seal for 5.9 ? Just picked up a cummins kit based on my engine number .the kit has a dust seal that I believe just sits in front.just wasn't expecting it. My service manual doesn't mention the dust seal.

Why care, seems to be an upgraded version.
It's from Cummins, will work, don't care about it.

More info on the truck would be helpful as well as an ESN and the part number he picked up from Cummins.

I use napa part number 24868.

Thanks guys,the Cummins number is 3804899. Not a big deal just don't feel like tearing it down on the weekend and not having correct seal.
