Front dash vent ?

With the AC on the drivers side vents blow cold, Passenger side vents blow warm air. the truck doesn't have duel zone air controls.

Any ideas on what could be the issue??

Your right, my does that too, the one above the ash tray is cold.

Plus when it gets low on freon that one blows what looks like smoke.

I don't know why this is like that.

I'll be watching your answers too.

My 04. 5 was doing that cold on drivers side and warm on passenger side. Freon or 134a or what ever its called now was just a tad low. Had it topped off and presto both sides cold. This is a single not a dual system climate control also. This was a few years back and no more problems.

The truck is going to the shop Monday. I will have them check the freon level. We will see if this solves the problem.

I've had an 03 and a 05 that a blend door under the dash broke. Dealer had to pull dash to fix it. Air coming out of passager side was about 15 or 20 degrees warmer than the drivers side.
